Camp highlights
Last week we went to Wainui camp. the day we were packing up to leave we had to write a camp reflection.

We had to write a challenging part of camp, favourite part of camp, something we learnt at camp and something were are grateful for.
Challenging: The most challenging thing for me was the archery because at the start I had no idea how to shoot, aim or even hold the bow. But luckily we had a realy good parent helper called Steve and the person that was running archery was realy helpful as well.
Favourite:My favourite part of camp was coasteering because I loved jumping of the rocks and to have a swim with my uncle Darrel and my mate Flynn.
Learnt:I learnt a lot of things at camp but there was one thing in particular that realy tough me a lot and that was archery because as you sore in the first paragraph I found it realy tricky and there was only one go in archery were I archery hit the board.
Grateful: I am very grateful for all of the parent helpers and and YMCA people for helping with the activity. and for the teachers and others cooks for preparing us with the meals that we had.
All together it was a realy great camp and was my favourite so far and I cant wait for next time.

Pbl driving question
Hello and welcome to Term 4. For PBL this term our driving question is "How can I celebrate who I am?" We get to do what ever we want to showcase our PBL. Science
Each person in the kaupeka hub had to do a science experiment. Me and my friend Reuben chose to do a volcano and it worked realy well. All we needed was
Baking soda
Food coulering
Vinegar
A plastic bottle and water
Me and Reuben had one week to plan this experiment and it was realy cool to see our volcano erupt.
I would love to do a experiment like this again so that I can try something new.

Narrative
One day a boy named Sayten Jeqera went up to the Prime Minister and said “There are too many people in this village we need to get rid of some.”
The Prime Minister responded, “We cant Just get rid of people thats murder.” No said sayten not in that way. The prime minister replied.
Well we need to come up with a solution. “Well we could live on mars” said a boy named Jayden brown.
“Mars Isn't that another planet?” Jayden replied.
“Yes it's in Our Solar System”.
“But how will we get there it's not like we are going to Build a Spaceship or anything we don't have the money or the experience to make a spaceship”.
Then from around the corner a man named Brent smith came into the building and said “I am a mechanic I can help build this spaceship but I will need some materials. But we need to hurry before the world overpopulated.”
“He's right Said Sayten we need to hurry. Also how will we launch the rocket We don't have a launch site”. While they were arguing about the space ship a homeless boy named Arie freak could hear them all yelling at the top of their lungs. So he decided to round up a bunch of people in the city and take them to the garage were Brent was building the rocket. The reason why Arie went to get all of these people was because the world is overpopulating so they were going to have life on mars. As brent was building the rocket He wanted to know How they would survive up there. So Sayten said that he knew there was water and Possibly some other life form but that was all that he New. At the time knowone knew who arie was But he wanted to help and when they found out how much people were outside the garage they flipped. “How many of you are there sayten said.” A voice replied But knowone could understand what they were saying.
Meanwhile Brent was building the rocket ship. He had realised that nasa was building a rocket ship on there launch pad themselves. That got brent thinking If They’re building a rocket than all we need to do is to find out where they’re going.
As brent was looking for sayten to tell Him the good news He found a boy Hiding away in a shady corner.
Who are you said brent?
“My name is arie freak the boy Replied I have come to help build a rocket ship that you guys were screaming about in this very room and I have found some people to live on mars with us so that the world won't overpopulate.
“That's great brent replied Thanks for your help. “Wait what I want to stay And help you with overpopulation” “But your to young you will not be strong enough or smart enough for anything that we are doing”. Said brent. How do you know the little boy replied I must be pretty smart to know that you needed all of these people for the mission.
It was a friday morning and Brent had Just finished building the rocket ship and it was time to start losing people on the rocket and go to mars. Once all the people were on brent fired up the rocket ship and they were off into space. Once they got to mars the first thing they did was to put up houses which took only 2 days because they were really small. They found out that already everyone was sick and dying except for brent, sayten, arie, and jayden because they were still on the ship. So they all had a talk for about 10 mins and came up with a solution and that solution was to ditch all the people on mars and go back to earth. Sayten than said to everyone when they got back to earth that it was good that they left the people there because now we aren't suffering from overpopulation.

Before we writ a two page narrative we had to Do a plan so that we new what we were going to write. I write my narrative on overpopulation and the characters in the story were called. Sayten jequera, Jayden brown, Brent smith, And Arie freek.

On Monday morning the a basketball team Went to a zones tournament and we had a great time playing lots of games of basketball. the hole tournament we won 3 out of 7 games which is alright. There were some very good teams there who got some crazy shot. I cant wait to try and make that tournament next year because it was a lot of fun.
