Sport

Hello Everyone and welcome back to my blog Today I will be sharing with you My sport That we had to do every Thursday until week 8.
These are the sports:
Cricket
Korfball
Softball
Lawn bowls

The first sport that I m going to talk about is Korfball which was my favourite. Korfball Now I have never played this before but we started out with a few rules and then added more it is a very fun game and I hope that I will get to play it again.

Next sport cricket
I know how to play cricket roughly so I got in to partners so we each got on over ( six balls) Because most of the people that we have in our class don't play cricket it became quite hard to hit the ball. Because every time they they bold the ball It would always go off to the side.

Now softball. Softball is a realy fun sport and Loved to smack it realy hie in the air so that no one would catch it.

Even though I haven't done lawn bowls Yet on a Thursday I have a rush Idea on how to play but the people that came to teach us weren't actually playing the sport they were Just doing drills so that we had a idea on how to play.

Thank you for reading this blog.

How to play football

How to play football/All the info you need to become good at footballer

Things you will need to play this sport.
Long socks
Shin pads
A drink bottle
Soccer boots
Shorts
Shirt

Things that you need on the field while playing the sport
A soccer goal

A soccer ball

6 cones

A referee

11 People on the field and 1-4 people on the side line

Study the basics

The reason why you need to know your position and study the basics is because in every sport the basics are all you need to know to be a good sportsman and if your playing a game of football and your coach tells you to play striker and you have no idea were that position is than you will be lost

Start practising.

The reason why you should practice before jumping into a game is because if your on a football field and you have know idea how to play or you don't know what penalty is you will look a bit weird.

Focus on one skill at a time.

The reason why you should do this is because if you focus on 10 skills at a time it could take ages for you to get good at it. But if you focus on 1 skill at a time than you will master that skill so you can move onto another one.

Improve your fitness.

The reason why you should improve your fitness is because you would enjoy the game better if you were fit and if you weren't fit than you would be tired and you would Just think that it is boring and you wouldn't have enough energy to carry on with the game.

Join a team.

After you have gotten better at you skills and improve your fitness I would recommend to Join a team so you can show you skills in a fun game of football.

Find a training partner.

So that you can carry on getting fit and better at the game find a training partner so that you can train with someone other than yourself.

Practice Lots.

Practice lots so that you can improve your skills so that you look better on the field and than after you are really good maybe you boost someone else's confidence so that they can get as good as you.

Last week we went to Wainui camp. the day we were packing up to leave we had to write a camp reflection.
Link to camp sight
We had to write a challenging part of camp, favourite part of camp, something we learnt at camp and something were are grateful for.

Challenging: The most challenging thing for me was the archery because at the start I had no idea how to shoot, aim or even hold the bow. But luckily we had a realy good parent helper called Steve and the person that was running archery was realy helpful as well.

Favourite:My favourite part of camp was coasteering because I loved jumping of the rocks and to have a swim with my uncle Darrel and my mate Flynn.

Learnt:I learnt a lot of things at camp but there  was one thing in particular that realy tough me a lot and that was archery because as you sore in the first paragraph I found it realy tricky and there was only one go in archery were I archery hit the board.

Grateful: I am very grateful for all of the parent helpers and and YMCA people for helping with the activity. and for the teachers and others cooks for preparing us with the meals that we had.

All together it was a realy great camp and was my favourite so far and I cant wait for next time.

What was your favourite camp and why?
