during Quarantine...

As you would have known there has been a disease outbreak called Covid-19. and because of that every kid in NZ has had to stay home and and be home schooled for the last 5-6 weeks.

I have still been very active as you can see as well as my family. Remember, even tho we are in level 4 of covid-19 still try to be as active as possible.

Here are some of the things Iv'e been up to. going for long bike rides with my dad, Louis and Jacob. I have also been playing basketball at my house and at courts in our area with the same people. When we go for walks with the dogs Cooper and Enzo Its normally me Jacob Louis Dad and Tui. I love throwing sticks to Enzo when we go for walks to the river. When we go for walks with cooper he just likes to walk he doesn't like playing fetch but its Algs. When we do anything we have to be in our family bubble which means you can only be with the people that you live with. we also have to stay 2 metres away from strangers if we do come a cross anyone a book.

I also read a book talking about magic Johnson who is a NBA player. here are some things that I read about tin the book.He is the NBA first overall draft pick and is selected by the Los Angeles Lakers. 1980 At 20 years old. Johnson was also the youngest rookie to be in the NBA finals and be the NBA finals MVP. The Lakers won 4-2 in that series against the 76 ers. For the Lakers. sadly magic Johnson retired from the NBA in 1991. Magic Johnson shocked the NBA community when he was tested positive with HIV virus. That is the reason why he retired. HIV virus is just another word for aids.

But i hope that the virus gets killed as quick as possible because we don't want anyone else to get sick or possibly die.  I would also like to thank all of the essential workers that have been risking there lives so that others can live. lot of respect to all of you people.

Hope you enjoyed this blog.
question time: What have you been

  1. Hi Joey
That is a great piece of writing. I really like how you thanked the essential workers, we all need them. I have also been going for bike rides and a lot of dog walks. Are you enjoying learning from home?

  2. Hi Joey,
I'm glad that you have still been able to do lots of good things in your bubble. I too have a dog and have been enjoying this gorgeous weather with some good walks.
The book on Magic Johnson sounds good. I'm not reading any books at the moment but intend to look into the ebook category online at Christchurch Library.
I also take my hat off to all essential workers.
    Thanks for sharing.
